Dear Parents and Players,

I wanted to reach out and thank everyone for coming to our kick off meet for the upcoming hockey season last night. Many of you may have noticed Dan Milan was not in attendance. I am sorry to say that Dan has taken on a larger role with his work and will not be able to coach with the program this year. I know I speak for the entire St. Mary’s Hockey family both past and present in saying, Dan will be missed and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank him for all that he has done for the St. Mary’s hockey program. Dan always preached selflessness and he certainly practiced what he preached. Dan was always there to help and give of himself no matter what we ask of him. Dan coached all segments of our St. Mary’s Hockey program for many years and in doing so, has helped develop many players that have went on to higher levels, or are currently still in our program.

I want to wish Dan all the best, while letting him know that he will be missed and we hope to see him at the arena when time permits.

High regard,

Coach Klanow
