Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Hockey

Season Information:

  1. Sign-up for the Website to receive e-mails. (See form to the right).
  2. Website is the Main Source of communication
  3. To avoid your e-mails from going to Spam and Junk files, Add eaglethockey@gmail to your E-Mail Contacts.
  4. If your calendar is blank, and you are using Google Chrome, please log out of your google account. This should fix it.

Summer Programs:

  1. Summer Hockey leagues/On Ice Training (Cost $300) Checks payable to St Marys Hockey
    1. 2 JV Teams Playing a Full Schedule in the Great Lakes Summer Hockey League –  WWW.GLSHL.COM
    2. 2 Varsity Teams Playing a Partial Schedule in the GLSHL.
    3. GLSHL runs from June 14th to July 31st, but is shutdown from June 28 – July 5.
    4. GLSHL plays most of the games at OLSM, but some are at Novi or DSC.
  2. Summer Showcase – Muskegon (July 17 – 19) – Separate Cost from Summer Program ($200)
    1. Coaches will pick 40 Players from the Summer Varsity Teams to Participate in Tournament

Fall Programs:

  1. 2 Midget Minor – U16 Teams will be created to play a split season schedule, click here
  2. 1 Varsity Team will play in the Cranbrook Fall League
  3. There will be Practices and Off-Ice training
  4. The Summer League is the Tryouts for the Fall teams.
  5. Recognized Select Opportunitys for Fall:
    1. Top 80 Program – Run by TPH – Tournaments
    2. MDHL – Tournaments Only
    3. Team Michigan

Winter Programs:

  1. 1 – Varsity Team
  2. 2 – Junior Varsity Team (Red and White)
  3. Varsity will continue to play in the MIHL
  4. JV Red will continue to play in the MJVHL. (American Division)
  5. JV White will also play in the MJVHL. (National Division)

 

Player Expectations:

  1. Be a good Teammate
  2. Work Hard On and Off the Ice – This goes for Schoolwork as well as Hockey.
  3. Understand what you Represent (The tradition of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Hockey)

 

Parent Expectations:

  1. Be Positive, both with your Players, but with the other Players in the Program
  2. Be Helpful / Get Involved / Volunteer – There will be lots of opportunities for those who want  to help to do so.
  3. Be an asset to your son and to the Program – Keep your opinions to yourself
  4. For those who need to, STOP being a bad Parent – You ruin it for the Good Parents.
